Partial is a dating app for adults in Canada.

Report something urgent

If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services (911). Reporting to us is important, but it is not a substitute for emergency help.

To report a member, a message, a photo or an opinion, use the Report option in the ⋮ menu on that profile, chat or post. Reports go straight to our moderation team, and the person you report is never told.

You can also email admin@partial.chat with the subject "Report". Include the person's display name and anything else that helps us find it.

We review every report and aim to act within 24 hours. Reports involving anyone under 18, self-harm, or a threat of violence are escalated immediately and the content is hidden while a person reviews it.

Block someone

You can block any member from their profile or from a chat: ⋮ → Block.

Blocking works both ways and takes effect immediately. You and that person disappear from each other's feeds, matches and conversations, and neither of you can contact the other. They are not told that you blocked them.

To see or undo your blocks: Settings → Blocked users.

Common questions

I've forgotten my password. Use the sign-in screen's recovery option, or email us.

I can't sign in with my phone number. One-time codes can be delayed by your carrier. Wait a minute and request another. If it still does not arrive, email us.

My photo was refused. Photos are screened automatically before they appear on your profile. Screening is imperfect and occasionally refuses a photo that breaks no rule. Try another photo, or email us and a person will look at it.

My message or opinion was refused. Text is screened for the categories in our Terms of Service. If you think it was refused in error, email us.

My account was suspended or removed. Email us and a person will review it again.

How do I delete my account? In the app: Settings → Delete my account. If you no longer have the app, see date.partial.chat/docs/delete-account.

Is Partial free? Yes. There are no subscriptions or in-app purchases.

Where is Partial available? Canada only, for now.

Safety

Our in-app Safety centre (Settings → Safety centre) covers our community guidelines, what happens when you report someone, and advice on meeting people safely.

The essentials: meet in public, arrange your own transport, tell a friend where you are going, keep conversations in Partial until you trust the person, and never send money, gift cards or cryptocurrency to someone you met here.

To access, correct or delete your personal information, contact our Privacy Officer at admin@partial.chat. We respond within 30 days.
