Delete your Partial account
You can delete your Partial account and your data at any time. Deletion is permanent and immediate — there is no grace period, and the account cannot be recovered.
If you still have the app
This is the fastest way, and it takes effect straight away.
- Open Partial
- Go to your profile (the rightmost tab)
- Tap the ⋮ menu, top right
- Tap Settings
- Tap Delete my account
- Type
DELETEto confirm, then tap Delete forever
Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out on every device.
If you no longer have the app
Email admin@partial.chat from the email address on your account, with the subject line "Delete my account".
If you signed up with a phone number instead of an email, include that phone number in the message and send it from any address — we will contact you to confirm the request before acting on it.
We will confirm your identity, delete the account, and email you to confirm, within 30 days and usually within a few business days.
What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in credentials
- Any linked Apple or Google sign-in
- All active sessions, on every device
- Your profile: display name, bio, location, age
- All your photos, including the image files themselves
- Your presence in the discovery feed
- Your matches and match history
- Your swipes
- Your membership of every conversation
- Your notification settings and device tokens
- Your blocked-users list
- Reports you filed about other people
What is kept, no longer connected to you
Some of what you contributed to shared spaces stays. Removing it would take away other people's own records, or change results they had already been shown. None of it is linked to you afterwards — your account and profile no longer exist, and the app shows this content as belonging to a deleted user.

Questions
Can I just take a break instead? Yes. Settings → Deactivate my account hides you from everyone — you leave the discovery feed, nobody can open your profile, and you appear as "Deactivated User" anywhere you would otherwise show up. Nothing is deleted, and reactivating restores everything exactly as you left it. Deleting, described above, is the permanent option and remains available at any time, including while deactivated.
What if I change my mind? A deleted account cannot be restored. You are welcome to sign up again, but it will be a new account with nothing carried over. (A deactivated account can be restored at any time — see above.)
Does this cancel a subscription? Partial has no paid subscriptions.
