Delete your Partial account

You can delete your Partial account and your data at any time. Deletion is permanent and immediate. There is no grace period, and the account cannot be recovered.
In the app
- Open Partial and go to your profile
- Tap ⋮ to open Settings
- Tap Delete my account
- Type
DELETEto confirm, then tap Delete forever
Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out on every device. This works even if you have not finished setting up your account.
Without the app
Email admin@partial.chat from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". If your account uses a phone number, include that number; we will contact you to confirm the request. We will confirm your identity, delete the account and confirm to you within 30 days.
If your account has only a passkey and no email address or phone number, sign in on a device that holds the passkey and delete the account from Settings. Otherwise, email us with the account's display name and roughly when you signed up. We may not be able to identify the account.
What is deleted
- Your account, sign-in methods (password, passkeys, Apple or Google sign-in), sessions and one-time codes. A passkey stops working but stays in your device's passkey list until you remove it there.
- Your profile: display name, date of birth, bio, gender answers, religion, height and other details, and all your photos.
- Your face vector, the record of your identity check, the age range estimated from it, and any device reference stored while your account was held for review.
- Your home location and search area.
- Your swipes, matches, friends, friend requests, invite codes and wingman arrangements, your wingman filters, and the swipes your wingmen cast for you.
- Your conversation memberships, read positions, join requests and chat invitations.
- Your notifications and settings, blocks, reports you filed, usage statistics, and any suspension record.
- Your Partial+ purchase records.
Deleted information stays in our backups for up to 14 days before it is overwritten.
What is kept
These stay because they are part of other members' records. They are no longer linked to your name, email address or phone number, and are shown as belonging to a deleted user. Apart from reports, they have no fixed retention period.

Want a break instead? Settings → Deactivate my account switches you to Wingman only, the version of Partial with no dating profile: only your friends still see you, and nothing is deleted. You can return to the full app with Settings → Enable full app.
Deleting your account does not cancel a Partial+ subscription. Apple or Google bills it, so cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings.
